Bureau of Animal Industry Welcomes its New Director

The Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) officially welcomed its new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Director Dr. Christian P. Daquigan, in a turnover ceremony held during the agency’s regular Monday flag-raising activity.

During the ceremony, outgoing OIC Director Diosamia M. Sevilla expressed her gratitude to the BAI employees for their support throughout her leadership and encouraged the staff to continue working towards the agency’s goal under the new leadership.

In his short address to BAI employees, Dr. Daquigan vowed to continue strengthening BAI’s programs on animal health, disease prevention and livestock development.

This turnover ceremony demonstrates smooth leadership transition, and with this change, BAI remains committed to its mission of ensuring a resilient and sustainable Philippine animal industry.
